Grulla gris

This is a beautiful close-up of a very cool looking bird. The focus and feather detail is great. The eye is sharp and the bird is captured with an excellent profile. There aren't any annoying shadows or other distractions, so overall a very good shot.

It appears that some of the highlights are blown out - obviously this was taken when the sun was shining quite strongly on the subject. I would suggest always using -2/3 exposure compensation to help with this kind of issue.

It would also be nice if you pulled back a little so the whole bird is visible and we could then also see more of the setting, to add some context and interest. Of course that's just my personal taste. Overall this is excellent. Keep up the good work!
